1. Use entrance matting at all external doors.

2. Remove footwear worn outdoors when entering.

3. Apply felt pads or castor cups to furniture.

4. Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove abrasive dust and grit.

5. Use the correct vacuum setting for the floor type.

6. Use only recommend ed cleaning products.

7. Blot up spills on carpets with absorbent paper, avoid scrubbing as this pushes the spill further in to the carpet fibre's.
